Presented by the Los Angeles Business Council, the annual Summit, now in its 15th year, has established itself as the most effective and productive forum that has helped spur transit-oriented development and sustainable workforce housing for Los Angeles for over a decade.
This year’s Summit will focus on new strategies to increase housing production to meet Los Angeles’ goal of building 100,000 new housing units by 2021, with deliberate policies to address our workforce housing needs. The LABC will call on businesses and community leaders to actively support the passage of Metro’s LA County Ballot Measure R2, a new half-cent sales tax to invest a minimum of $120 billion to expand the county’s transit infrastructure and reduce congestion.
Featured speakers include: K. Robert Turner, Principal & CEO of Turner Impact Capital; Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti; Clyde Holland, Chairman & CEO of Holland Partner Group; Phil Washington, CEO of Metro; Doug Guthrie, President & CEO of the Housing Authority of Los Angeles; Shad Balch, Manager of New Product & Public Policy Communications for General Motors, and many more!
