Strings & Things Puppet Theatre "Ordinary Objects"

Ordinary Objects is an absurd performance which explores the ambiguities between objects and puppetry using the anthropomorphic nature of ordinary objects. Depicting ideas expressed by surrealist René Magritte the experiment draws on humorous and bawdy comic cliches and dislocated repetitions with an underlying message of metaphysical distress while paying tribute to filmmakers, surrealists, and existentialists who extrapolate meaning from the world of objects.
