About Us

Howard Brown & Sons Auto Body is a family-owned collision repair and paint shop serving West Los Angeles and Santa Monica since 1972. For more than 50 years, we’ve helped local drivers get safely back on the road with repairs that prioritize quality, transparency, and long-term value.

We’re known for BMW collision and paint repair, with BMW factory-trained technicians and an OEM-first approach. We’ve proudly served as Santa Monica BMW’s body shop partner for over three decades, and also repair Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and all other vehicles - always with the same careful standards and attention to detail.

Our shop uses advanced equipment (including precise frame and measuring systems and ADAS calibration) and professional refinishing with modern color-matching for a seamless, factory-quality finish. From fender benders and bumper repairs to major accident damage, we handle the repair process start to finish, work with all insurance companies, and keep you updated along the way.
