The Aquarium is located at the Santa Monica Pier, directly underneath the historic carousel.
The Santa Monica Pier Aquarium is operated by Heal the Bay, an environmental nonprofit organization dedicated to making the coastal waters & watersheds of Greater Los Angeles safe, healthy, and clean.
